James - Sayonara Taken from the album Wah Wah Written and performed by James & Brian Eno Riff: e------------------------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------------------------ G------------------------------------------------------------ D------------------------------------------------------------ A--3/5-5-5-5----5\3-3-3-3------------------------------------ E------------------------------------------------------------ Solo: e----------------------------------------------5---3---5---3- B--5h6p5h6p5h6p5h6p5---6--5------6--5------------5-------5--- G---------------------------5---------5----5----------------- D-----------------------------7---------7-------------------- A------------------------------------------------------------ E------------------------------------------------------------ Song Structure: One guitar plays a chord of C5 for most of the song. Another guitar occasionally pops up playing the Riff. When playing the Riff make sure to kill each note off very quickly, otherwise it won't sound right. Listen to the record and you'll hear what I mean. Towards the end the C5 playing guitar starts to play a very wishy-washy Solo with tons of chorus and reverb on it. My guess is it's something like the Solo tabbed above. After playing the solo this guitar goes back to playing a single note of C (3rd fret on the A string), repeatedly, until the fade out. And the song never deviates from a chord of C, but you can put ones in like Cadd2 or just C played this way .
